“Historical” flag: this is the first banner of the group, made in 1978 by the famous painter Aurelio Perrucchione. It bears the name of the group with the castle and the relief of Mount Cavallaria. Hand-painted by the artist, it is the object we are most fond of. It is used exclusively on special occasions.
The "horizontal" flag was created in 2014 with the creation of the Flags Department from an idea of the then president Maridon Gianpiero. It bears the white Pifferi e Tamburi Baio Dora inscription on a blue and red background, accompanied by the official symbol of the group. It is carried by a group of young girls in uniform.
The "pennant" flag depicts the Pifferi e Tamburi coat of arms on a red background with gold trim; the central image in white depicts a stylised image of the Baio Dora castle that still exists as a ruin after it was destroyed during the Franco-Spanish wars of the 17th century. Hand-sewn by members of the group, it is proudly worn by a representative of the Pifferi e Tamburi.
Three institutional flags (Italy, Piedmont, Pifferi Baio), carried by men, precede the group during large parades and events.
The girls of the Flags Department precedes the Fifers and Drummers, wearing a red jacket with silver buttons on a blue skirt, accompanied by a cape and a feathered hat to match the skirt.
Our Autumn/Winter uniform consists of blue trousers with silver band, red jacket with tails, silver buttons, black cuffs and collar. As headgear we use the so-called “Frigio” hat of French revolutionary origin.
The summer uniform, on the other hand, is characterised by a white shirt with blue trim, red historical cut waistcoat with silver buttons, blue trousers with black belt, black gaiters with silver buttons, and a two-coloured envelope hat.
The figure of the "Drum Major" or "Mazziere" with his historical uniform precedes the players in the most significant parades.
